My research is covering the Battle of Griswoldville in Middle GA near Macon,GA
So far it looks like Brig Gen Charles D Anderson of Fort Valley,GA was believed to have argued with lead General Phillips to
NOT charge the Federals due to the age and small numbers of Confederate soldiers. From what I have found, Gen.Anderson
knew it was a suicide charge,but could not convince the stubborn Gen.Phillips to back off. Anyone with info or other
related info regarding the Battle of Griswoldville, please post. Long live our Southern heritage!!
