That's very interesting,as the DNR guide told us about Sam Griswold's Colt gun factory was burned as well as other buildings near the battlefield. The town of Griswoldville was a very important and busy town back in Novemebe of 1864. They have several historical markers where the town was. The presentation was very informative and will be carried out each year at or about Nov 22 of each year.
