Wow! Pvt. Howell, from fall 1863 to fall 1864 must have spent a lot of time on the Western and Atlantic RR, between Atlanta and Chattanooga, as his battles alternate between the two areas in that time frame.

BTW, one of the descendants in Texas was the only other person than my GGF named Lemuel. Lemuel H. Boring was from Cobb County, and in the 18th Ga. He died at Seven Pines in 1862. Stan
