I believe he was possibly a prisoner held at Point Lookout in St. Marys, MD. and was taken to Camp Stanton for some reason, the Widows Pension Request states that he did die of disease at Camp Stanton with correct date etc. Also there remains a question of where he is buried. Point Lookout was a very large prison camp and is now a national park. Camp Stanton has disappeared into time. I also had heard he was at Andersonville with Fannin.
