I am trying to locate a roster for Company K, 17th Regiment, Georgia Volunteer Infantry to verify the name of an ancestor who served in that unit, Joseph Ellis Furgerson. I have known that his middle initial was E, but do not have any source to show that the middle name was Ellis. Any help finding a contemporaneous record listing the names of the men in the unit would be greatly appreciated.
