A.M. Vick stated in and applacation for soldier's pension under ACT 1910, he enlisted in January 1863 near the Elk River near Fayetteville, Tennessee, And further stated he surrendered at Kingston, Georgia on May 12, 1865. The
pension is dated September 28, 1910.
Five to six months before the surrender at Kingston Ga. General Wheeler commanded two of the Companies of his command to protect the Citizens and property of North Georgia and they did so. All soldiers North of the Chattahoochee River were cammanded to join General Wofford, this was near Tryon Factory in Tryon Georgia. Company B cammanded by Caption May and also Company G of the 4th Georgia Cavalry surrendered in a body at Kingston, Georgia.
