Re: Ezra church-- Thomas Howle/Howell dies

Just found from another researcher's "Simmons" book of a few years back (I can't begin to verify the accuracy of every detail- I'm on information overload!) But according to her, the Thomas Howle (born about 1827) that was killed in the battle on July 28th 1864 was the son of Thomas T Howle and (2)Nancy Rivers that had married in Putnam county GA in 1816. This elder Thomas being born near Conan's Well, Sussex county, VA. abt 1787 and died 1870.
