Do you have any biographical information about J.A. Sanders,
Co. A, 3rd GA Infantry, who died Nov. 6, 1862? I assume he
died in MS as he is buried there.
I found one J.A. in Jasper Co. MS, census, bn GA, abt 1827,
with wife, S.C. (Sarah Caroline?); children: R.B(urton) and S.A. (female)
and R.R(ufus) (the names from FWT).
I don't know if J.A. Sanders, died in Battle or from disease...online info
I could find, says GA 3rd Reg. 'participated in more than fifty
engagements in its career.'
