Jr. 2nd Lt. "Riley Wise"
In Response To: Updates to your roster! ()

The full name of the Jr. 2nd Lt. of the Lee-Humphreys Battery was Riley Wise LINDSEY. I found this in a genealogy, which claims he enlisted in "Co. K", Watie's Cherokee Regiment, and became Jr. 2nd Lt. of the "Roswell" Battery (apparently it was called after Lee's first name, too). He was born in Butts Co., Georgia, Feb. 22, 1832, and survived the "Trail of Tears" in his infancy. I haven't found a CSR, but it may be indexed under a Cherokee name? He would be a Cherokee officer of the battery!!
