Re: The Battle of Perryville, Choctaw Nation

Dear sir.
I am a member of the D.H. Cooper camp #819 (S.C.V).
I saw your add and in response I would like to give you this info. The battle of Perryville is not in the Choctaw Naiton,
but possible I might be mistaken. The origonal battle ground is on privte land on the oter side of McCalaster. I has been cleared and mowed to make way for us re-enactors.For the last two years we have put on the Battle of Perryville and had got exelent croud turn out. Ron Hull and Jerry Resee has put a lot of time and effort in restoring the battle ground and now we are working on the old town that was there. To our amaisement the old texas road is still there and along with a long stage coach road is still there. If you receve this info, please call me back and I will give you all that you will need to help you. My number is 1-580-298-3201. call any time after 6:00 on week days and i'm not home call
1-580-298-6509 and leave your name and number and I shall get back to you. Also before I go i better give you my name
just ask for Curtis Ogle.
