Kim,
Depending on what direction you are coming from, the only developed battlefield site is Honey Springs just north of Checotah and I-40 and east of US Hwy 69. The Fort Gibson site is just a few miles northeast of Muskogee. There is also Ft Washita near Durant and a nice museum at Atoka near the site of the "Middle Boggy Battle".
