Does anyone know where I can find a list of soldiers who were "mustered" out of the army at Fort Gibson at the end of the Civil War. My ancestor (full blooded Cherokee/Half Cherokee & Half white/or full white adopted) served in the Union Army during the Civil War. After the war he taught school in Indian Territory and married one of his students: Emmeline Jefferson.
