Clarkson's Battalion Co. H

Jim:
A while ago there was a discussion on Clarkson's Battalion, and I believe you mentioned that the company from Watie's Cherokee Regiment (1st Co K, Capt J.L. Thompson/ J. F. Ross) was transferred to Clarkson's Bn. (as Co. H) in September 1862. Can you confirm this? And if yes, what is the source for this information?
The company was reorganized on July 14, 1862, and I believe it could have served for a short while as Company L of Watie's regiment (second organization) before the transfer. This would match the designation listed for Thompson's/ Ross' company in Starr's History of the Cherokee. I have also just found other records indicating that Brewer's Co. was designated Co. M, Alberty's Co. N, and Vann's Co. Q in the second organization of the 1st Cherokee (before forming part of Adair's 2nd Cherokee in February 1863).
