Remarks: 2 Lt. Jule C. Cayot one howitzer and 19 men in the engagement defending supply train at Cabin Creek on July 1" & 2" 1863. 80 rounds of canister and shell were fired during the engagement from the one gun. July 14 marched to Honey Springs 25 miles but were too late to participate in the engagement at Honey Springs. Aug. 22 1863 Two howitzers three com officers & 50 men crossed the Arkansas river at Ft. Blunts command and marched in pursuit of the rebels under Generals Steele & Cooper to Perryville C.N. 90 miles S.S.W. of Fort Blunt returning by forced marches to Webber's Falls 95 miles by Aug. 31" 1863

February 1st, scouted through the Indian Territory in the direction of Fort Washita. Returned to Ft. Blunt Feb. 21" 1864. Distance marched 300 miles
