The returns for Co. L, 3rd IHG reports a campaign in the direction of Ft Washita. We know that Phillips crossed the Canadian at the mouth of Little River (the site of Old Fort Holmes and Edward's Trading Post) so these seems to suggest they moved down the road from Old Fort Holmes toward Fort Washita which is along the Choctaw-Chickasaw Boundary.
