Even though I have completed my book on Howell's Texas battery, there were some unanswered quesitons. This is one, and if anyone can shead any light on this location I would be pleased to see it.

According to Lieutenant Charles Stith Howell's battery fought in Newtonia, Old Fort Wayne, Cabin Creek, and Old Terry in the Choctaw Nation. Does anyone know of any referrences to a engagement in a place called old Terry?

It is possible that I have the name wrong since it was very hard to make out. Another translations might be Old Ferry.
