Please know that I've made is my business to tease information from fragmented records such as those you referenced. ..I welcome such data to study. ..Yes, in several instances, I've gone out on a limb to include very fragmented data that made no sense, just because that part of North Texas and Southern Indian Territory should be recognized.
To me, it is most upsetting that our part of south-central Oklahoma, with very fertile soil is historically overshadowed - and even forgotten - by parts of Oklahoma with mediocre to poor soil. ..(The Washita Valley is the 2nd richest valley in the USA, second only to an Illinois valley.) ..I am striving to compile our history with, yes, very fragmented records that I welcome and will intensively study.
