One point I failed to mention is I'm not 100% sure where they lived prior to moving to Missouri, but my 3 greats grandfather and his wife died in Arkansas. This is my possible Cherokee relative and his wife (that I have been unable to find on any rolls). Since this daughter born in Mo. was orphaned by 1880 family tradition is murky with several suppositions, so I'm unsure whether my ancestor served or not, especially since some of the muster rolls for both sides have been lost.
