I've only seen it as an adjective or 'landmark'. There were almost no 'towns' in the Cherokee Nation as we think of a 'town' today, but there may have been residences in the area generally known by that name. I have not run across the names of any structures along the Ft Scott-Ft Gibson in the immmediate area -- e.g., roadhouse, stage stand, residence.
