I am a descendant of Peter Pitchlynn, but I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. My dad, David Allen Pitchlynn, recently died and now I am trying to find out more about my family history. My grandfather's name was Robert Allen Pitchlynn who served in WWII as a marine in the Pacific. He died somewhere around 1978-80. I am not sure who his father or grandfather was. Is it possible that Robert A. Pitchlynn was the grandson or great grandson of Peter Pitchlynn?
