Patti I precieve you are taking issue with my commemt on Albert Pike and General Hindman.
Now you would not sully a statement that is untrue, but to not comment on the untrue fact is to a. assume the thought is correct, or b. allow the untrue to remain and let it be thought to all that reads your 1022 page book, that the situation is as stated.
Hindman was taking all the supplies meant for Insian Nation troops, weapons, clothing and food was being diverted. Pike spoke out about it and the fore mentioned argumaent started. Now for starters General Pike was a Department General, Hindman a Division. Pike out Ranked Huindman and was not required to answer to Hindmans request or orders. Hindman ignored protocol. It had nothing to do with Pikes Starving Indian friends. This is what your 1022 page book has left out for the reader to assume that Pike was a cry baby of some sort, not a General who was being insulted by an inferior officer. Who are you sullying here?
