Oh definitely. I have no relations from that far north. I am not directly descended from Tarlton Bull -- he was the husband of my great grandma's sister. I am related to his children. I had hoped to find some of them, but maybe I can't, I am not sure. My family (Jeff Richey) is on 1900 Chickasaw Nation census as White, but we were mixed. Tarlton's family came from Wisconsin to Tx in 1859 yet immediately sided with the Confederacy. "Bull" is also a very common English surname. I'd thought they wre White so was curious why they joined the 1st C-C-Mtd-R.

Before that we were in Arkansas, Texas, with the Brown's/Guess/t, and Hawkins in Al/Ms/Tn a generation earlier -- we can't trace any of them before that.
