No North Carolina Artillery units served with Stand Watie; however, I'm more curious as to why you ask the question. Have you read something that connects this unit with Stand Watie and, if so, what specifically did it say?

There were Confederate Cherokee Troops from North Carolina, specifically "The Thomas Legion" was about one third Cherokee. Perhaps the confusion or reference to Cherokee troops might come from this unit.
