Is it correct that J.O. Shelby, himself, stayed at Camp Coffee and did not come to Newtonia, but sent reinforcements? His reports in the OR are among my favorites as he was a lyrical writer. I had found the MOA site & the Ohio one as well. I think I prefer the MOA because it is so readily searchable, despite appearing as originally written. I found some typos in the Ohio site, so don't trust it as much (not that here aren't errors in the OR as well. There is no Garden Hollow in McDonald Co. It was likely Goodin Hollow. Probably the original writer made the mistake. Easily done.
