Honey Springs Battlefield will host a Civil War "Artillery School" on Saturday, 15 September 2007, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The cost per person to participate is five dollars ($5.00); there is NO CHARGE for spectators who just want to watch.

Members of several reenactment artillery batteries and sections will participate to teach, and learn, routine safety procedures, handling, loading, and firing.

All y'all come! (It's possible the early morning "classroom" work may be under the trees across from the LeRoy H. Fischer Interpretive Center, but the afternoon demonstrations will be east of the Monuments.)
