I've been looking for a reference to the Confederates heading to Alberty's. I thought this was in the ORs but haven't yet found it. John Alberty's place was on Pryor Creek near the Texas Road. Alberty's Store (shown on old maps as Albert's or Albertis) was 37 miles north of the Arkansas River on the Texas Road.

Can anyone help with this?
