It wasn't bad for a brief and generalized look at the war in Indian Territory. However, they got the date wrong for the 2nd Battle of Cabin Creek (they said Sept. 17 - as you know the battle was fought in the early morning hours of Sept. 19) as well as how the Confederates drove the Union forces from the stockade. Their map was based on the map in my book. Heck, I would have let them use it if they had only contacted me. If they had the book, they should have read it. :)

The writing was not very clear. One line from the script was that Stand Watie was given a "commandership" of a brigade. It shows the script was written by someone who doesn't study history. . . which is a shame since it aired on The History Channel.
