I too am interested in the Choctaw & Chickasaw Mounted Rifles. My great great great grandfather was John A. McCoy who fought for the Mounted Rifles. He was a Choctaw, but I don't have any other information about him, such as where he enlisted or lived, etc. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
