October 26, 27, 28, 2007
145th Anniversary of The Battle of Pea Ridge
Many readers will recall the successful re-enactments held in historic Little Sugar Creek Valley near Price Coffee Road in 2001, 2003 and 2005. This year’s event is expected to include more than 10,000 spectators, who will learn about the history of the Civil War Battles of Benton County, through reenacted battles, examples of living quarters, medical care, clothing, food and personal hygiene. Demonstrations, talk to people, walk through the civilian encampments, ask questions, learn about our history! $7/carload Admission. Stay all day! Starting at 8 am and running into the evening hours. Spectators are invited to bring lawn chairs or blankets for viewing of the battles.
