The Indian Territory in the Civil War Message Board

TCWRT

Here is an update for everyone who might be interested.

Beginning in Jan. 08 the Tulsa Civil War Round Table, will start back up after being off for most of this year.
Our first get together will be at the Library on 93rd and Memorial. I am in the process of putting together a civil war week-end, Sat. in which we will demonstrate all the various aspects of the Civil War as it is today through our organizations. We will use this as a recruiting event to get the membership we need to have a effective group.
We had been meeting once a month at a local restaurant and will once again have several meetings that way. We will also go to one reenactment as a group meeting, most likely honey springs on that sat.
The idea for our group is to get much more participation and a big enough membership to sustain and get good speakers for our get togethers. In the past we have had persons such as Ed Bearess, and other authors to talk about their books, and people who are direct descendents of notable civil war personages. We hope to continue in that vein.

We would certainly welcome anyone here to join us this Jan, and more.
