My first book, AH-KO-KEE, AMERICAN SOVEREIGN, was published in 2002; and now I am almost ready with a book about Chilly McIntosh, my great-great grandfather, who was an officer in the Battle of Honey Springs. One of the chapters in my new book is about Chilly's actions in the Civil War. I have not studied much about wars, period; so I know I could use more information about this particular Battle of Honey Springs, and certainly appreciate any history available, especially if it concerns those who fought alongside Chilly.
