It appears that a "spammer" is testing the security of the message board, looking for "a way in".
We're all too familiar with "spam" in our email inboxes. A "spammer" is the person or persons who sends these emails using all means of deception to hide their identity and to bypass spam-blockers and other security softwares.
In this case, it appears a spammer may be trying to 'crack' the security on the message board so they can automatically post spam on the board.
