Two different persons.

The house in Newtonia was the house of Judge Matthew Ritchey. I don't think he served in the war. His son was Capt James M. Ritchey who served in Missouri in the Militia and Regulars.

Below is a picture I took of the Ritchey House when Jim and I passed through there some years back.
