I did'nt finish the question completely, I know that may routes like Perryville,Cochran Station Old Ft Arbuckle likely had to be stopped due to the war. Perryville Post office burned all records including who was the postmaster, lost by Union fires. In Fed 1863 Union Killed Post Master and station owned R.L.Cochran. closing that Post office. But the P.O in Old Ft Arbuckle had letters from both Gov.Winchester Colbert and Col Phillips in 1863 abt spring I think. this must still be under civil control of the post office and after these events, they had Marshal Law and it no longer under civil control,Provost Marshals took over most all functions?
