I am a Great-grandson of John Wesley Odom of the 35th Texas Calvary. His dad was Rev. Randol Odom and Grandson of Rev. Malachi Odom. John Wesley Odom had a brother in the Infantry. His name was Richard Nollie Odom. There were several other relatives in that horrible war. I am researching the Odoms in the civil war and any help will be appreciated. The family footprints are all over East Texas, Mississippi, all the way back to Alabama, Georgia and the Carolinas. It is fun looking for those footprints.
