Caught the thread on Howell and Alexander while Googling C. C. Alexander who is in my family line. Has anyone identified the C. C. Alexander mentioned in this discussion? Mine was b. 1811, Wilson Co., TN; moved to Nacogdoches Co., TX; was in Smith Co., TX when it split off. Wondering if this could be same C. C..
