I am waiting for any reply from the letter and copy of the book I sent to them.. I recall them telling me that they were not that interested in the history of the war as much as their own family history. They have written about that and I would like to get a copy if I can. There was actually two members of that family in Howell's Texas Battery.

And as I stated I have made a copy of the flag according to what I was told before but would really like to be able to see what it currently looks like myself. As you are aware the only pictures are the one of the family member with the flag and the one from the reunion what was in the confederate mag.
anyway I am hopeful.
