The Wells' Battalion Roster that David L. Haimerl transcribed and posted in this forum in 2006, I think, and can be found on my web site. ..This roster contains the regimental returns of the men of Captain J.J. Scanland's Squad, Major Levi E. Gillette's Company, and Lt-Colonel Chaplin Good's Company.

David L. Haimerl of Stover MO transcribed these records and stated: "Here is a rough draft of a roster I'm creating of what I'm terming Well's Tx Commands. ..It is a transcription of the Confederate Service Records (CSRs) for Well's Tx Bn (which includes Scanland's Sqd & Gillette's Co.), Well's Tx Rgt and Good's Tx Bn. Unfortunately, the CSRs, especially for Well's Rgt and Good's Bn have a lot to be desired. ..One day I'm hoping to publish this material and if anyone feels like contributing information on any of the individuals I'd greatly appreciate it. ..Additionally, I have yet to go through the CSRs for the 1st Choctaw & Chickasaw Rgt which some of the men served in. Other projects are in the forefront. ..Also, I'll post the entire roster as my work schedule permits."
