This listing of 107 Prisoners was found in the BOURLAND PAPERS. No place is mentioned. ..The only dates mentioned were when the prisoners broke guard, April 9th and 27th, 1865. ..Also mentioned were Brig-Gen. Stand Watie’s Regiment and Colonel W.B. Sims’ Regiment.

Some prisoners were in DeMorse's 29th Cavalry, Company 'E' (after serving in the 1st Choctaw & Chickasaw Mtd Rifles, Company 'I'), but more were in DeMorse's other companies. Also many of the prisoners were from Denton and Collin Counties, Texas.

These prisoners were from about 12 different North Texas regiments.

Help. ..In order to identify these prisoners, I have to find them in other records, which has proven to be taxing. This handwritten record is very difficult to read plus in order to find some of them in the censuses, I must know the spelling of their surnames. ..Please help identify these prisoners, esp. if I have not shown evidence that I have found them in a census.
