Indian Territory and judicial districts

.
Ken Martin:
.
While we're posting "too much information", I'll toss in what I have on the judicial districts mentioned in my Gazetteer.
.
In the BOULAND PAPERS, I found several documents that pointed up the need for listing judicial
districts: e.g., an 1852 bill of sale for slaves of "Willis, State of Arkansas" showing several Bourland family names. And of course, Willis was/is not in Arkansas, but is located at the long bridge across Lake Texoma, now Marshall County OK.
.
Vincennes, Knox County, Indiana was, of course, the judicial seat of Indiana Territory.
.
Below are entries referencing judicial districts that are mentioned in my 1,046-page book. This is not a comprehensive study of the pre-1907 judiciary.
