There were two Camp Arbuckles and two Fort Arbuckles.
.
Fort Arbuckle #1, Choctaw-Chickasaw Nation, I.T., two miles north of now Byars, McClain County, Aug 1850-Apr
1851. Also called Camp Arbuckle, “Beaverville, where the Delaware Black Beaver lived, and “Johnsonville” named for Montford Johnson cited in Neil Johnson’s THE CHICKASAW RANCHER. In the 1890 Chickasaw Nation census, "Johnsonville" is listed as the Post Office for the area although the post office was officially renamed "Johnson" in 1876 because the US Post Office did not have a stamp with 12 letters.

Quoting Ken Martin:
"... Old Ft Arbuckle" vs. "Old Ft Holmes" -- they are hard enough to keep track of as it is. I still wonder if Phillips or some of his mounted men visited "Old Ft Arbuckle" which is also known as "Camp Arbuckle"
and "Beaverville" -- where the Delaware Black Beaver lived. ..."
