-Perryville was for a short time the Capital for the Choctaw Nation for a a very brief period (abt month) it was then moved to Doakville Ok.--O.H.S. Josiah Doak well known in Ms.his name became the town Doaksville he & wife moved to texas-but I'm not sure when? L.O.L
