When I first saw Ken's posting, I immediately took your TEXAS BURIAL SITES OF CIVIL WAR NOTABLES off the shelf ... no cigar, but I knew that you would come through with the answer.

Then I saw Mitchell Sanders' Saturday 16 August 2008 5:45 pm posting on the Texas message board, followed the links, and low and behold, this A.S. Cabell was a resident of Fort Cobb in 1859 when he was married. ..Yeah! another two morsels for our Southern Indian Territory database: yours plus the great article that Ken Martin found in THE NORTHERN STANDARD.
