Cherokeetown is much further west (I believe my ggg grandfather, George Fields lived there for a time. He was the brother of Chief Richard Fields of the Texas Cherokee.). Two miles west of Frisco would just be a little ways from where I pointed to Frisco (Old Stonewall) and Cochran's at the mouth of Bois d'Arc Creek. I'll post another map showing the area further west.

Phillips' letter to Gov. Winchester Colbert said something like 'I came to your house but you had fled". I think the article in the Chronicles of OK says they burned his house. I was unable to verify whether his 1864 house was there near Frisco or somewhere else. He probably owned multiple houses.

Camp Kagi was twenty miles south of Camp Kansas (where the battle of Middle Boggy was fought).
