I saw a posting you made regarding finding Bottoms, Newton - 1st Cherokee Mtd.Vol., 2nd Co.A in the Confederate records of the Indian territory. My great-great grandfather's name was Newton Wesley Bottoms and he lived in IT at the time, but I do not know if he fought in the Civil War. I was wondering if you could help me find the record.
