There are two Confederate reports reprinted in the Clarksville, Texas newspaper The Standard at http://www.uttyler.edu/vbetts/clarksville_standard_1862-1865.htm . Search for "Camp Prairie Springs" which is where they were written. Prairie Springs, now known as Brushy Springs, is in the Cherokee Nation at the base of Brushy Mountain just southeast of Muskogee (where the toll gate on the Muskogee Turnpike is located).
