If you are still interested in info on James Fisher, I have records that show he is the son of James Lytle Fisher, born in Ill. between 1794-1804 and married Anna Ladd Dameron in 1816 in Pope Co., Ill. From the birth dates and places of his children he was in Missouri, daughter Mary Ann "Polly" born in Missouri in 1822, she had 3 marriages, unknown Boon, Ford and William Fitch (who served in the Union Army) and after Polly's death lived on the home place of James and Anna Fisher.

Jobe was born in Arkansas, Tina born between 1829-31 in Arkansas, John born 1833 in Arkansas married Minerva Coffey in Collin Co. TX, James born 1835 in TX and Delilah born 1836 in TX. Delilah married George Dameron, brother to Anna Ladd Dameron.
