The Cherokee Foremans are all cousins. They all descend from John Anthony Foreman, a Scottsman, who married a Cherokee. I was unclear on whether you were suggesting that Alexander Foreman may be related to Capt John A. Foreman of the 10th KS Vols. The three Foremans in Drew's Regiment were from different districts. Alexander was from Canadian. Archibald from Delaware. And George from Tahlequah.

James Foreman, of an earlier generation, was implicated in the assassination of Major Ridge, Stand Watie's uncle, and James Foreman and Stand Watie fought at England's Store near Maysville in 1842 where Watie killed Foreman. Archibald Foreman was from Delaware District and was likely closely related to James Foreman.

What do you know about John A. Foreman of the 10th KS? If this is Major John A. Foreman, later of Muskogee IT, it appears he worked for the railroad and that the town of present El Reno, OK began on his claim.
