I was probably the first to transcribe the Watie Book back in the early 90's when it was thought of by the KHS as belonging to the IHG. Ken Martin is absolutely correct about the difficulty of transcribing the border areas along with the ease of mis-interpretation some of the material. The only real way of getting this material right is to go to the original documents and work from there. Wilson's Creek has my transcription, Lars and Ken are the key people here to finish the work as it should be done.
