Hello Everyone

My gggrandma was born in 6-18-1879 in McGee OK. Her name was Johnie Gertrude Bowles. She married Daniel Asbury. Her death certificate states William Bowles as father and mother as Vardeman. I sent of to Vital Statistics for her birth certificate but no luck. I can't find her on the census before she was married. I know that she had Indian descendants but no info to conclude. Anyone recommend other sources?
